Change The World

I once heard Franklin Leonard, a film executive and founder of The Black List, say that it is not possible for one person to change the world.

While this might seem like a self-defeating statement, he meant it as a call for an honest evaluation of the work we’re doing and what we actually hope to accomplish.

Stop trying to change the world. Instead, fix something that’s broken. Make something beautiful. Hold up a mirror so that other’s can see who and where they are. And perhaps in doing so you will find some allies and accomplices and together you just might make a dent in the universe.
