Finding Voice

Finding a voice in ministry has been difficult but necessary for my survival.

I was raised by very strong women who may not have been leaders but still heads of their households.

Francis Crosby said it best with the song “Blessed Assurance” — a prayer in how I keep finding my voice — “This is my story, this is my song, praising my savior all the day long.”

Literally singing is how I wrestle with my God and enact my voice.

Finding voice is important to who we are and who we are becoming.
