Mastering The Art Of Shoveling

Shoveling bothers me: removing something that in only a mater of months will no longer be there. It’s trivial and frustrating.

So who are we shoveling for? Ourselves? To one up someone? Could it be true that in this simple act we actually hold a great amount of influence – to change the direction of countless unknown individuals on a certain day.

We all know the difference, the relief, of walking on a clean path rather than pushing through the off camber snow and ice packed walks.

Might the first step in loving our neighbor be mastering the art of shoveling our very own walk.
