I’ll let you in on a little secret. Even though I live, love, preach and practically breathe social justice work, I can’t really imagine the completion of that struggle, this world filled with the justice that I fight for every day. I guess that’s because the change I experience happens in process. Individually and in community, getting free is a journey.
My liberation comes as a spiritual transformation as much as a physical one, so the world I work for is the one in which each of us can have the love, the support, the encouragement, and the self-sovereignty we need to be on this extraordinary journey of our own becoming.
