Running & Jumping

How do we include children? Do we use them to carry candles or make cute comments during a children’s message? Sing solos at Christmas time? Well, those ideas are okay, but kids aren’t just props for our worship environment. How do we include children in ways that allow them to express their worship authentically? Some children may be inspired by the opportunity to walk the solemn walk of an acolyte, but many would feel more comfortable if they were asked to run and jump. Church, when do we get to the running and the jumping part?

  2. What does it mean for a child to naturally and authentically express their faith?
