Love Is A Revolution

Let me tell you what love is.
Love is an overflowing of self(s), a spilling out and all around, an osmosis of desire.
Where the I and the thou blur the borders… and pieces of thou invite a greater I.
Where what is of you becomes so important to me that I’ll do all within my power to make your justice, my justice… Your cares, my cares.
Love is
a recognition of mutual flourishing,
a reckoning of power,
a communion of grace abounding,
a scared do-ing and un-doing,
a coming and becoming,
a reclaiming of body and balance,
a renaming of how we want it to be, how it can be, how it will be…
a reveling in the margins of the margins,
a de/construct of I and thou…
a re/construct of we and thee within the world…
Love is a revolution.
Arise, my beloved.
  1. In your own words, what is love?
  2. How have you experienced love as a revolution?
