Powerful Love

Our bodies are neither ours to judge nor ours to harm.

Psalm chapter 139, verse 14: “I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well.”

Every stretch mark, dimple, freckle was shaped by God. Our bodies are gifts and every part is wondrously divine.

But our bodies are also vessels for works much greater. God did not create us to be pretty, thin, handsome, or fit. He created us to be powerful, to swell in love and make known his word.

We are not our bodies; we are who God calls us to be. Let your faith touch the world in ways your material body never could.

Brush this depraved culture of self hatred off your shoulders. Embrace God’s vision of you. And be powerful.
