It helps us to retrain our imaginations. It lets us look again at what we have classically determined these guns as weapons of destruction to be weapons within inherent possibility.
So they take these guns and they make them into garden tools. We begin to learn, to think with our minds about alternatives, a world teeming with possibilities, new ways of solving problems.
I don’t know about you but that’s the type of world I want to live in, a world where my son imagines new possibilities, a way to solve problems. A world that moves beyond this flat-lining of images of guns and moves to a more robust, healthy heart-pulse with new life for all.
