A Myriad of Points of View

A Myriad of Points of View

We can declare God to be a static being, an unmoved mover, but the only God we can ever know is one that evolves and changes, suffers and celebrates with the world around us. There is one God but a myriad of points of view.

God is the immanence that we perpetually project as transcendence. It’s right, perhaps even necessary, though always contextual, to see God as a transcendent Father, as the incarnate Christ, and as the sacred Spirit made manifest in (and in spite of) the people of God. These “modes” of God are projections of our own understanding and perpetually and contextually limited point of view.
