We live in the midst of an unfolding process, not an approaching event. Rather than an immutable timeline, meticulously mapped out and rapidly approaching, reality is an ongoing process, day by day, moment by moment, breath by breath.The past is merely recollection and the future nothing but anticipation, both of which exist only as thoughts. The ever-present “now” is the only true moment of reality, an ever-unfolding process from one “now” to the next to the next to the next.
