The reason that I like to joke about misandry is because it isn’t real.
A lot of people will try and use the term to discredit feminists and say that hatred of men and oppression of men is a real thing, but it’s not. Misogyny is well documented throughout history and involves violent and social oppression of women.
Misandry is not real.
So i joke about it to push back at the idea that feminism hurts men when in reality it wants to make women and men equals.
