Kind, Tenderhearted, Forgiving

Ephesians tells us, “Be kind, one to another. Tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ’s sake, has forgiven you.”

Kind, tenderhearted, forgiving. What if these were words we actually lived by? What if we lived in a world where kindness was our currency, forgiveness was easier to get than a gun. A world in which we all treated each other and the planet we live on, everyone and everything, with a great and astonishing tenderness.

Kind, tenderhearted, forgiving. That’s the world I want to be a citizen of.

  1. What kind of world do you want to be a citizen of?
  2. What difference would kinds, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness make on the lives of the people around you?
