Confronted by an abusive husband with a violent past, holding a concealed weapon permit, trained in the weapon’s use, Marissa Alexander stood her ground and fired a warning shot. The system convicted her, jailed her.
Now that she seeks appeal we stand our ground, we call for justice for Marissa Alexander, justice for all women of color, justice for all men of color, justice for all who encounter the criminal justice system. Justice for all.
