The Power Of Disruption

I’m concerned with a God who is capable of destruction but my favorite part of this text is the demand that sons and daughters shall prophecy. Old men shall see dreams and young men shall see visions, even all the male and female slaves.

I read this as a disruption of our tendency to be stingy with the gospel, especially across race, class, generation, and gender lines.

Can all of us see God? Of course! But what will it take for the church and our world to hear everyone’s voices and not just the ones that have always had the power?

  1. How have you experienced people being stingy with the gospel?
  2. What can you do to amplify the voices that haven’t always had the power?
