I have more ideas than I know what to do with. Many of them are hibernating in one of my 41 Everything Notebooks. But once in a while a few of them intersect and emerge as a new trajectory for my next annual project.
It’s never just one idea but is always an intersection of things. Creativity is always collaborative, even when it’s the combination of your own ideas. (And let’s be honest: anything that I consider to be “my own idea” is just an idea that I’ve forgotten who I’m stealing it from.)
And so as a new year is about to begin, a new annual project comes with it. The ties will continue, the pushups might make a resurgence, the bridge is still resting (for now). But in 2015 I will be undergoing an experiment in iteration and ideation. And it all starts tomorrow.
