When We Imagine

When we imagine, we form a mental representation of something that isn’t already the case but could be. We take our knowledge of the things in the world and reinvent them to create a potentiality.

What if we took our knowledge of what the world is like and our knowledge of what God is like and allowed God to be the lens through which we reinvent? What would we see then? Are we willing to see it? We’re not living in a settled destination, but heading into a waiting future.

If I’m able to see what could be the case and also believe that it should be the case, what can I do but act on it?
