As a prisoner of hope and the call in my baptism, I stand against evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves.
As a prisoner of hope, I weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn.
As a prisoner of hope, I will love my enemies and my neighbors as myself.
As a prisoner of hope, I will love myself and give myself permission to feel all the feels.
As a prisoner of hope, I will struggle alongside all of us to make the world a better place here and now and for the future.
As a prisoner of hope, I promise to hold onto hope for those who are not yet able, even if they are never able.
As a prisoner of hope, I can’t give up.
- What does it mean for you to be a prisoner of hope?
- When was the last time you gave yourself permission to feel?
