It’s easy to move quickly from Jesus sitting on a donkey to Jesus hanging on a cross to Jesus standing by his empty tomb. But we need more than just this Holy Week Fast Food.
This is a story that invites us to slow down, to savor every bite, to wave our palms and shake our fists, to shout “Hosanna” and cry “forsaken.”
Don’t move from Sunday to Sunday ignoring the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in between. Enter each day and experience the good and the grief that it has to offer.
