Sometimes when I see others who do what I do, I find myself wrapped up in envy. It’s like saran wrap – thin, but unexpectedly adhesive.
I find myself saying things like, “Wow, they’ve really arrived.” And sitting there, enveloped in my see through envy, I long to “arrive” like they have.
But really, to “arrive” is to be stuck in the past, stuck in a moment, or to die. So let’s all quit trying so hard to “arrive.” Let’s move past it and land right back in the place we’ve always been and always will be: the here and now.
Let’s see it with fresh eyes, full of gratitude, and move with life right on into the very next moment.
