Grounded Enough

Hi, I’m Phil Fox Rose, and I’m the editor of Paraclete Press.

I’m an enneagram Nine, the “Peacemaker.” I’ve devoted much of spiritual life to seeking and promoting two things:

serenity, groundedness, in Christian contemplative work and recovery
and being awake, present to reality in front of me

My wing One is “the Dreamer.” I’m an optimist. I believe grace-filled transformation is possible; things bend toward justice. People and cultures can step back from the brink, change course and do the right thing. I’ve seen it over and over. I want to help people so when they see truth and are convicted by it, they’re grounded enough to not retreat in fear.
