I took a class on mindfulness years ago and it strongly resonated with me.
Fours have a lot of feelings and we’re gifted at intensifying those emotions. At my unhealthiest, a small sadness can balloon into a whirlpool of self hatred. But when I’m healthy, the Four’s greatest gift, emotional balance, shines forth. I can view my feelings with objectivity.
That’s mindfulness. There’s no judgement or allowing negative thoughts to fester. I take it in and I let it out. Mindfulness is the gift I give to myself which becomes a gift to others. It is grace.
