Demand The Fixing

A reflection on Psalm 60:

What do we do when it is God who has scattered us, broken us, shattered us into a million tiny pieces?

We go back to God and demand the fixing.

As the psalmist says, “God, now you restore us. You repair the cracks.”

We remind God of promised faithfulness. And in so doing we remind ourselves as well. We see the past redemption, repairs, restorations. Will God not do it again?
