The essential add-on to the smartphone that you likely keep perpetually within in arm’s reach is the finger. Only it’s not the one you might be thinking of.
Some of you will think of the pointer finger, with all its tap and swipe capabilities. Others will give a quick thumbs up, seeing your opposable digits as essential to your texting and tweeting.
But the most important finger for your phone is your pinky. Without your pinky finger your phone would slip through your hand every time you try to type. This little digit provides the much needed resting place while you gaze at this 4” super computer.
When it comes to fingers, the last shall be first.
