An Experiment In Intentional Living

In 2009 I launched what would be the first of my annual projects. Rather than a New Year’s resolution that I would only keep for a week or two, I wanted to set out to intentionally define and design my year. Now on the verge of my seventh annual project, I look back to see the pieces that sustained the years: my everything notebook, a tie, my herbivorious lifestyle. And I look at the things that drifted or shifted their course: 100 things, daily pushups, 100 ounces of water a day.

Each annual project is an experiment in intentional living. And it’s only a failure if I stop learning from them.
