A detail is a smaller part of a larger whole, a single lego in my latest creation. Individual details can be annoying, but they are incredibly important. There is a tension between living with your head in the clouds looking at the big picture, and digging your toes into the dirt, focusing on the littlest bits.
So when you find your head in the clouds, don’t forget that the details are essential. And when you’re digging into the dirt of the details, pop up every once in a while for a breath of fresh air and the view from the clouds.
