You will never reach the horizon, no matter how hard you try. It doesn’t actually exist. It’s an invisible line drawn into our minds, a perpetual carrot hovering before us, a mythical destination at which we can never truly arrive.
But perhaps “getting there” isn’t the goal. Because when you are so focused on a somewhere out there, you can miss out on what’s happening right here.
Be where you are. For it’s the only place you can ever truly be.
