Our Demand For Justice

There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

This quote from the “I Have A Dream” speech respects protest, understands anger, demands our participation towards change.

It’s the prophetic that we resist, violating our sensibilities towards slow, gradual, inevitable change. We want tranquility. We need peace. And this comes only by our demand for justice.
