All About Connection

Sometimes it can feel, as a creative person who hangs out on social media, that I’m the only writer who is NOT an introverted enneagram Four. It seems like every other writer gets their book done by going off to some cabin in the woods and emerging, a month later, with a completed manuscript and a zen halo.

If I went into a cabin the the woods for a month I’d come out completely deranged. I need people.

What helps me most as a writer is connecting with others who write. As an enneagram Two who likes to help others and be loved, I remind myself that creativity is all about connection – with yourself, others, God and the world.
