Content And Commentary - Thirty Seconds or Less

There’s an increasing amount of commentary and a decreasing amount of content.

We are so busy talking about what just happened that we rarely get around to actually doing something.

We critique the book, the album, the movie, quick to point out where they fall short of our almighty expectations. Yet we hesitate, procrastinate, or outright refuse to do the work necessary to make something of our own, likely paralyzed by the fear that our newly created content will then fall prey to critique and comment.

How long before all that remains is commentary on commentary and critiques on the quality of someone’s critique?
