Yes. It is terrible. We are sad.
Yes, it is so sad that so many people think this way.
Yes. Yes.
But listen. Here is what we are going to do.
We are going to keep you safe, the best we can.
We are going to keep our black, brown, gay, Muslim, disabled, women, and transgender friends safe, the best we can.
We are going to keep telling people what we believe about love, diversity, and the radical way of Jesus.
And
Lean in real close, children
We are going to be really sad and really angry together.
