Create Change

Create change: if two words can describe my life, it might be these.

Whether separated by a punctuation or placed side by side, they accurately describe where I’ve been and where I hope to be.

I want to create, to make something new, to see the raw materials around me and connect them like synapses to bring something new to life.

I want to change, to grow and evolve, to learn new ideas and live in the tension, someone with a direction more than a destination, a perpetual horizon rather than a mythical location.

I want to create change, to exist in this world so that this world does not remain the same, amplifying voices from the margins and upsetting the status quo, leaving a dent on the universe so that we don’t stagnate towards oppression but shift towards justice.

Create. Change.
