I read this novel, Anathem by Neal Stephenson, where about a hundred pages in I finally understood a little bit of what was going on and by about nine hundred pages it was the best novel I’d ever read almost.
There’s this rule that you’re only supposed to have like 140 characters in a tweet or 30 seconds for a post or 300 words for a blog and really the only problem with this idea of brevity is that just about the time you’re getting started
