Again And Again And Again

You don’t train for a marathon only to stop running the day after you cross the finish line. This experience changes your identity: you are a runner. This isn’t something you did that one time. This is who you are today and tomorrow and everyday to come.

You don’t stop creating just because you’ve hit “publish” on your latest project. Ideation is an iterative activity, collecting possibilities and connecting the dots, turning the concept into something concrete, an idea into an action, a perpetual beta test, reveling in the distinctions between version 1.0, 1.01, and 1.2.

Because you are creative. It’s hardwired into your DNA. So hit “publish.” Ship your product. And then dive back in and do it again and again and again.

  1. Was the last time you turned an idea into an action?
  2. Describe your creative process.
