The Same Holy Stream

In Acts,
there’s in-fighting among the Jesus followers about how big God’s grace really is–
does it really extend beyond the Jews– even to the Gentiles?
The Apostle Peter says it does.

Our radically loving God doesn’t play favorites.
God’s grace is for everyone.
This truth, can piss people off.
It did when Peter preached it.
And it still does today.

The Good News of Acts is this–
when we share the message of God’s love and are met with hate,
we stand in the same holy stream as the Apostles.
It’s an uncomfortable stream, but we stand with good company.

  1. Based on your experience, how big is God’s grace?
  2. “Our radically loving God doesn’t play favorites.” Do you agree or disagree and why?
